Food + family = Love Happy Food
Love Happy Food is the heart of our business – and our home life. Good food enjoyed with friends and family.
In Italy families spend on average 53 minutes together per day eating around a table and discussing the day. (We spend a lot of time chatting and dare I say fighting – in the nicest sense – but at least we have good food.)
In the UK, that family meal time drops to just 13 minutes. For my own family I feel this time is vital given all our busy lives and commitments.
It seems to me that as a nation, we need to put more time aside to eat together as a family. I don’t know what meal times are like for you at home. But one thing we can do is make sure that any meals you have with us allow you to enjoy eating, chatting, and being together.
So it’s good to know when we’ve managed to do that! Recent reviews for both Centotre and the Scottish Cafe include comments from some very discerning customers: children under 5. And their parents.
